Valley Voices Scholarship

VALLEY VOICES SCHOLARSHIP (previously known as the Clark Scholarship)

Each year, the vocal music department awards a scholarship to a senior who has been involved in the the choral program at Valley and is pursuing an education in Music Education, Performance, Therapy, or Technology.   The scholarship was originally founded in honor of Charles Clark who was the Vocal Music Director at Valley from 1972 until 1989, when he passed away at age at the age of 47.  Mr. Clark started many traditions that continue to this day, including singing “An Irish Blessing” at Valley graduations.  He and his wife, Jean, enriched the lives of many Valley students over the years.
